Motherboard is the antidote to the judgmental and unrealistic expectations we place on motherhood, an honest, funny, and relatable film for any mother who has shed tears of both joy and frustration. At 38, Victoria finds herself alone, pregnant, and broke. Unable to balance motherhood with her career as a freelance director, she is forced to give up her work in television. She decides to turn the camera on herself and her son Jim. Over the course of twenty years, Victoria candidly documents the chaotic odyssey of single motherhood.

Her VR project The Waiting Room premiered at the Venice Film Festival, winning the IDFA DocLab Award, while Testing Times was featured at IDFA and the True/False Festival. She teaches Digital Arts at Royal Holloway University of London and writes for The Guardian and The Conversation, focusing on gender equality and digital storytelling.
