Born and raised in Prato, Aureliana Bontempo (1997) graduated in Arts, Music and Performing Arts from the University of Bologna in 2019, and earned her master’s degree in Cinema, Television and New Media from IULM University in Milan in 2022 — the same year she began attending the directing program at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. Her first short film, L’ultima amanteabout the last utopias of the inhabited villages in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, was presented in 2021 at the DesignAgorà Festival (Porto, Portugal). Since 2021, she has also served as Editor-in-Chief of the online film magazine ODGmagazine.com.
