Between 1993 and 1995, amateur filmmaker Sejfo filmed a heartfelt message for his young daughter Alisa. The documentary follows Sejfo’s personal search in the Bosnian-Muslim enclave of Srebrenica, revealing everyday life during the war and the fears and hopes of the local people, whose lives were forever changed by the crimes against humanity committed in the town. Thirty years later, Alisa returns to the site of The Srebrenica Tape, where over 8,000 men were killed on Ratko Mladić’s orders.
